Evidence before volume

Original questions. Traceable rules. No scraped competitor banks.

DrivingTest.es separates public facts from protected expression. We can learn a rule from current law, then author a new scenario; we cannot treat a public website as permission to copy its question database.

Policy reviewed

Operational policy, not a substitute for advice from Spanish intellectual-property counsel.

01

Source

What rule or administrative fact supports this claim?

02

Rights

May we adapt and sell this exact text or asset?

03

Review

Who checked accuracy, language and learning value?

Source allowlist

Green, review or blocked

Green

BOE law and OpenData, eligible EUR-Lex material, original commissioned work, individually verified open-licence assets

May enter the authoring pipeline with attribution, version metadata and all licence obligations recorded.

Review

DGT guidance, DGT Revista text, datos.gob.es datasets and file-by-file Creative Commons media

Reference or quarantine until the exact material, domain and licence grant permit the intended commercial adaptation.

Blocked

Competitor banks, leaked/recalled live exams, unknown sources and media without separate proof

Never ingest, translate, rewrite or publish without a contract or explicit written permission covering those uses.

BOE’s reuse terms expressly allow commercial and non-commercial copying, extraction, adaptation and combination when their conditions are followed. Our attribution is: “Based on data from Agencia Estatal Boletín Oficial del Estado.” Consolidated legal text is informational; the official publication controls.

BOE reuse terms

Publication gate

A generated question is a draft, never a publish event.

Every revision stays out of learner sessions until evidence, rights and human review are complete. Correct answers are keyed to stable concepts, not translated option text.

  1. 1

An authority source supports the tested rule and the exact article or section is recorded.

  2. 2

The scenario, choices and explanation are original—not a translation or close rewrite of a bank item.

  3. 3

English exam wording, plain English and Spanish use the same semantic choice IDs and answer key.

  4. 4

Commercial and derivative rights are proven separately for text and every image, video or audio asset.

  5. 5

A qualified human checks rule accuracy, language and teaching value before publication.

  6. 6

A source change retires or returns every affected question revision to review.

Competitor-content decision

Public access is not a reuse licence.

The current terms below make bulk copying a blocked source. A future commercial contract could change that status only if it explicitly covers storage, republication, translation, modification, media and database extraction.

PlatformWhy ingestion is blockedTerms
PracticaTestNo storage, reproduction, exploitation, reuse or copying without written permission.Open
TodoTestPrior written authorisation required for total or partial reproduction, use, exploitation and distribution.Open
AEOL ServiceAll rights reserved; reproduction, distribution, communication or use requires explicit consent.Open

DGT’s real production bank is not public. A Spanish transparency decision upheld refusal of access after DGT described more than 18,000 continuously updated questions and investigations into question sales. We therefore say “original DGT-style questions aligned with current Spanish law,” never “the official DGT bank.”
